What Is MCP, and Why Does Your Hub Have It?
MCP — the Model Context Protocol — is an open standard that lets AI assistants use software as a tool. Think of it as a universal plug: any assistant that speaks MCP can connect to any system that offers it.
Every IFX Hub runs an MCP server. When you connect Claude or another agent, you sign in and approve it on your hub's own consent screen over OAuth 2.1. From then on it can read and act in the hub with exactly your permissions — nothing more. It works the other way too: attach external MCP servers to Ask AI and their tools appear inside the hub.
