Real Double-Entry Books, Built In — Not Bolted On
General ledger, bank feeds via Plaid, reconciliation, period locks, and financial reports.
In Short
What Is Accounting & Bank Feeds in IFX Hub?
IFX Hub includes a true double-entry general ledger: a chart of accounts, atomic append-only journal postings, reversals, and period locks. Bank and card transactions stream in through Plaid, the hub suggests matches and categories learned from your past choices, and reconciliation, bills, and reports happen in the same system as the rest of the business.

What Accounting Does
The building blocks of this module — shaped around your own fields, statuses, and workflows when we build your hub.
Chart of Accounts
A starter chart is created for you, with system accounts and payment methods you can extend.
Journal Entries
Manual entries and reversals. Posting is atomic and append-only, so the audit trail can't be rewritten.
Period Locks
Lock closed periods so nothing posts into a month you've already closed.
Bank Feeds via Plaid
Transactions stream in and the hub suggests matches for transfers, invoice deposits, and categories learned from past decisions. Matching runs every four hours.
Reconciliation
A reconciliation workspace to clear lines, complete, or void a reconciliation.
Bills & Payables
Post, void, and pay bills; AP aging and a cash-flow forecast.
Reports
Trial balance, profit and loss, and account ledger reports.
Automatic Posting
Sales-order invoices, customer payments, and supplier payments post to the ledger on their own.

FAQ
Questions About Accounting & Bank Feeds
Is IFX Hub accounting real double-entry?
Yes. Every transaction posts balanced debits and credits to a chart of accounts. Postings are atomic and append-only, corrections are reversals, and closed periods can be locked.
Can IFX Hub replace QuickBooks?
For many businesses, yes: it has a general ledger, bank feeds via Plaid, reconciliation, bills, invoicing, and P&L and trial balance reports. If your accountant prefers to stay in QuickBooks, the hub can complement it instead.
